Aion 2 launches in the West in September 2026. Between now and then this site fills up with guides; this page explains how they're organised so you can find what you need without wandering.

The seven categories

Every guide lives in exactly one category, chosen by when you need to read it:

CategoryWhen you need it
Basics & Getting StartedBefore and during your first hours
ClassesWhen you're deciding what to play
ProgressionFrom level 1 to the cap
Endgame & BuildsWhen you're capped and optimising
PvP & AbyssWhen you start fighting other players
Economy & CraftingWhen you want to make currency
Game SystemsWhen one specific mechanic isn't clear

Tags cut across categories: if you want everything about stigmas, the stigma tag collects it even when the guides sit in different sections.

The labels at the top of every guide

Each guide carries three pieces of information that matter more than the text itself:

  • Updated on — the date of the last revision. An MMO changes every patch: a build guide six months old is probably wrong.
  • Game version — the patch the guide was verified against. If it doesn't match yours, read it with care.
  • Level — beginner, intermediate or advanced. It's not a judgement on you, it's how much context I'm assuming.

Where the information comes from

Three categories, always declared at the bottom of the page:

  1. Original guides. Written by the site team, verified in game where possible.
  2. Game data. Numbers, formulas and skill trees are verifiable facts: we report them and cite where we checked.
  3. Third-party content. Republished only under a compatible license or with the author's permission, always with name, link and license at the foot of the guide.

The full rules are in the content policy.

What's not here

A build planner. Good ones already exist, maintained by people keeping an archive of twelve thousand items in step with a game that ships a balance patch every week. Rebuilding it worse would help nobody: the Tools page lists the ones that work.

The market tracker is under construction, but it can't start until the western auction house is online.

If you find a mistake

Guides get corrected. If a number doesn't add up or a rotation stops working after a patch, report it: the fix ships before the next new guide.
